WHEN AND HOW DOES FEEDTEXT COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Registration
Personally identifying information is any information that can be used to identify and contact you, including your name, e-mail address and telephone number(s) (what we call your "Personal Information"). When you register to use Feedtext enabled services, we ask for your Personal Information. We may also ask for your date of birth, gender, address, company name, carrier service provider and/or zip code and other related information (what we call your "General Information"). We use your General Information to manage your account and to provide you with the Feedtext service. Therefore, when you register as a member of a Feedtext-enabled service or program, we ask for your honest responses to this information, and you represent that your responses are correct and accurate, so that we can serve you more efficiently and effectively.
A cell phone number and carrier service provider are only required if you want messages sent to your mobile phone. As with your other Personal Information, we use your cell phone number only for the purposes of delivering those Feedtext services to which you have opted-in. Your cell phone number will not be visible to other members in your profile. Members can only identify you via your nickname.
We use your email address to help us operate the website by sending appropriate communication to you related to the website. We also use your email address to forward communications from other Hobnobster.COM members and to send matches information. Email communications may contain commercial messaging, such as ads and special offers from Hobnobster.COM or our affiliates. We may use action tags, also know a single-pixel gif or Web Beacons, to learn more about your visits to this Site in order to provide emails about goods and services of interest to you.
Consumer Opt-in
It is Feedtext policy that to participate in a program you must explicitly opt-in to that program. Feedtext provides two ways to opt-in. First, in response to an advertisement, you can send an SMS message to a Feedtext phone number as part of a program promotion. Second, you can register on Hobnobster.COM, which links to our messaging platform. In each case your cell phone number is registered within our messaging platform as interested in participating in a particular marketing program, or as a part of an on-going program.
Consumer Opt-out
It is Feedtext policy that just as you should opt-in to a marketing campaign, you have the right to opt-out of a particular program. Our messaging platform manages consumer opt-out requests. You can reply to an SMS marketing message requesting opt-out. When you choose this option, you will no longer receive PREMIUM messages unless you opt-in again using one of the mechanisms identified above. Feedtext shall honor the opt-out request promptly and as timely as technical procedures will allow. However, Feedtext does not guarantee an immediate response.
Gathering Personal Information
Feedtext might gather some personal information specific to participating in promotional campaigns. The information requested may include contact and demographic information. Information you supply is voluntary and will relate to the relationship Feedtext has with you or your organization and will only be requested to the extent it is necessary to provide the services you have requested. Feedtext may also log IP addresses and phone numbers to analyze trends, administer the site, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use; provided, that such use is for internal purposes of Feedtext or its affiliates or partners only.
Using Personal Information
If you do choose to give us personal information related to participating or not participating in promotional campaigns we will let you know how it will be used. For instance, we may use the data to make our services more relevant to you or to notify you of information and offers you may be interested in. You should know that when you sign-up or use any of our services we may use information about who you are, where and when you respond to promotions, where your wireless device is located, and how you use our network, or other information as described in this Policy.
Sharing Personal Information
Feedtext may share aggregated, non-personal, non-individual information collectively with its marketing partners for research purposes only. We will not share individual information regarding transactions or participation in promotional programs with any third party. We will not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent or as otherwise provided in this Policy.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. The web pages of Feedtext or its Clients (as defined below) may use cookies or other technologies so that they can better serve you when you return to those sites. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on a site. Feedtext uses cookies on its own web site.
Consent
We reserve the right to disclose any and all pertinent customer information to law enforcement or other government officials, as we believe necessary or appropriate or upon receiving requests and recommendations through our legal consultants and/or government officials and offices with or without your knowledge.
Links to Other Sites
Please note that you could be directed to another site while using Feedtext. When you link to another site, you should review its privacy policy, as it may be different from this Policy. Feedtext is not responsible, and shall not be liable, for the privacy practices of linked sites or any use such sites may make of any information collected from you. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Feedtext.
Children
Children should not submit any Personal Information without the permission of their parents or guardians. Feedtext encourages all parents or guardians to instruct their children in the safe and responsible use of their Personal Information while using the Internet. Feedtext will not allow children under the age of eighteen (18) to use the web site. By clicking the "accept" button, you are representing that you are at least 18, or (if applicable) that you are at least 18 years old and have your parents’ permission to register for Hobnobster.COM.
When does FeedText share my Contact Information?
New Subscribers From Our Linking Client Sites
If you are not already a member of a Feedtext service and were directed to a web page operated by Feedtext on behalf of a third party company that has engaged Feedtext to provide professional services (a “Client”) from a link on that Client's web site, we may share Personal Information and/or General Information with the linking Client. We may also include a link to the linking Client's privacy policy. Because our linking Clients may have different privacy policies than Feedtext, and Feedtext has no control over the linking Clients, we encourage you to read the Client's privacy policy before you decide whether or not to continue the registration process. By completing the registration process, you acknowledge and agree that Feedtext is not responsible, and shall not be liable, for the practices of any linking Client site or any use such linking Client may make of your Personal Information or General Information. If you do not want us to share your data with the linking Client, your only option is to choose not to register during a visit to Hobnobster.COM directly from a linking Client. Similarly, you will be solely responsible for any information you choose to disclose to such third parties.
Newsletters, Contests and Other Information from Clients
When you sign up to receive alerts and other information from one of our Clients, the settings default to your having opted-in to receive newsletters, receive alerts, messages, sign up for contests, or receive additional information directly from that Client as well. If you do not choose to opt-out from receiving such additional content directly from the Client, you grant us permission to share your Personal Information and General Information with them for that purpose. Even if you elect not to receive such additional content directly from our Clients, it is generally necessary for us to share portions of your Personal Information and/or General Information with such Client to the extent necessary to provide you with the alerts and other information you have requested. Because Clients may have different privacy policies than Feedtext, and Feedtext has no control over its Clients, we encourage you to read the Client's privacy policy before receiving additional content, alerts or other information. By not opting-out from receiving additional content directly from a Client, or from receiving alerts or other information from one of our Clients, you acknowledge and agree that Feedtext is not responsible, and shall not be liable, for the practices of any Client or any use such Client may make of your Personal Information or General Information. If you do not want us to share your data with the Client, you should opt-out from receiving additional content, alerts and other information from such a Client.
Business Transfers
Feedtext does not sell, rent or disclose any of your Personal Information with third parties without first asking your consent to do so. However, in the event that Feedtext or substantially all of its assets are acquired, Feedtext may transfer your Personal Information and General Information without your prior notification or consent as one of the transferred business assets.
When Required by Law

Aggregate Data
When you access Feedtext, our server automatically collects certain information that is not personally identifiable, such as your IP address, pages viewed, and length of time spent on the web site. We collect and use this information, in the aggregate only, to diagnose problems with our server, to improve our sites, and to provide content of interest to you. We also give Clients access to aggregate data about our users and their use of the Feedtext services during user sessions. The information we share will not include Personal Information, but may include General Information.

Feedtext takes precautions to ensure the security of your Personal Information and strives to keep it accurate. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel will not gain access to your Personal Information despite our efforts.
